Wow, that is cool. I love the way it looks like he’s giving up on a losing fight. Letting the heat of the battle consume him after his body has been pushed past it’s limits.
You can almost hear him on his com device, asking a fellow soldier to tell his wife and kid that he loves them and always will.
I agree with Zombie, there is a sense of defeat in this screenshot. It looks like he is still trying to prop himself up with one arm but his weight is getting too heavy and starting to buckle. With the fire quickly approaching, it seems like the end is near.
Everyone else has pretty much said it all on this one.
For some reason the “tell my family I love them” line makes me think of the end of Independence Day.
