One thing I’m debating, though, is whether or not the marine should even be in the picture.
He’s so small and hard to see, I don’t really think he’s adding anything to the picture.
But, on the other side of the coin, he gives the viewer a sense of scale and grandness that is Halo.
Either way, it’s a good shot.
I could have excluded the Marine, but I felt that leaving him in there would show the immense size of the fallen monument that used to be the space elevator, as well as what you said, COL0NEL-the scale and grandness of Halo’s environment.
Sorry if you think it takes away from the picture, but I thought this would have been “just another scenery picture” had I not included the Marine.

Another Dusty Boy T picture?
;)
Beautiful, as always.

it looks like a grunt on a turret to me…and i think it ruins the shot
I didn’t even notice the person until you two mentioned it. My eyes were never drawn to it so it doesn’t bother me at all. :)
That just proves my first point.
lol
It’s not strong enough to grab your attention, so it doesn’t need to be there.
Just a minor issue, so don’t get worked up over it, Dusty.

I actually like the marine. It shows how big the landscape is.

If you enlarge the picture to it’s full size, the Marine looks like he belongs a little more.
Very true.
That how I got my second point.
I enlarged it and could see that the Marine has a purpose…to show you the grand scale of the environment.
