I love this site and I love the sense of community that has developed here over the last several months. Because of that I have decided to crack down on the comments. If you leave a comment that does not contribute to the screenshot at hand, it will be deleted. If you leave a comment that is derogatory towards the author, it will be deleted. If you leave a comment that is insulting without offering constructive criticism, it will be deleted. You don’t have to like every shot, and it’s ok to say as much in a mature and respectful manner. Feel free to ask how someone got a certain effect, or offer a way you would improve a shot. But this is not Bungie.net and pointless flaming will not be tolerated. Let’s go over a few examples of what sort of comments will be deleted.

There are only 11 helmet permutations and 24 weapons available in Halo 3. Of course there is going to repetition in the shots when you are given limited things to work with. Quit bitching and deal with it.

This website is about celebrating Halo 3 screenshots. Personal opinions about the authors are not relevant in any way, shape or form. Comment away on the screenshots themselves and leave personal issues out of it. You’re only making yourself look like an ass anyways.
Old screenshot is OLD.
Last time I checked, images don’t have expiration dates. A good screenshot can stand the test of time and a date is never something I factor in when debating carrying a shot. Screenshots are not fucking gallons of milk people. It doesn’t start to curdle if I post it so relax already.
How long did that Forge creation take

Everybody has a hobby and things they enjoy doing in their free time. Just because they choose to spend it crafting an amazing screenshot does not make them any less of a person than someone that spends that time watching a movie. Or reading a book. Or listening to music. Don’t be a judgmental douchebag.
All I ask is that you be respectful to your fellow Halo 3 fanatics. It’s not about only posting positive things, it’s about voicing your opinion in a constructive way. I will continue to do what I can to foster a positive environment around here. I invite you to be a part of that.

Ok, but I still hate all the goddamn recon pics. I don’t hate them because I don’t like the armor, I hate them because THATS THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE THINK IT’S COOL. If you have a sniper rifle section for pics that have sniper rifles, then why not a section for the recon pics?

That’s totally and completely wrong. When you speak in absolutes, you are guaranteed to be incorrect. Do some people feel that way? I would venture a guess that yes, a certain population of people hold that opinion. Believe it or not though, not everybody has a preoccupation with armor permutations. You apparently do. I do not. So keep the “I hate all the goddamn recon pics” opinion to yourself. You are entering this website with preconceived notions that are not allowing you to appreciate all the shots, which is really a pity because some of them are quite spectacular. Perhaps one day you’ll get past that.

Once again, you don’t understand what I say. I don’t hate a picture that has recon in it. I hate the pictures that have the SOLE FOCUS OF THE PICTURE being the fact that the spartan in the pic wears recon. Sure, I like pictures that have an awsome aura to them, but I just can’t stand pics that are “oh, look at the pretty recon”, instead of “oh, look at the pretty picture”. If someone wore recon in the pic, I’m fine with that. But if the only purpose of that pic is for you to stare at the recon, then I hate it.
See there, now I had to explain myself in full detail because you didn’t get my point the first time. I spoke in absolutes to express my opinion more thoroughly, even though I didn’t really think that “everyone” likes it because of one reason or another. It’s like exaggeration.
Perhaps you should have fully explained yourself the first time around instead of trying to be an ass.
You have said your piece. I have said mine. This discussion as it pertains to you is over. Contribute as you like on the site, but be aware moderating is being enforced now.
Ok but let me say one more thing. People generally don’t “full explain” themselves the first time. I wasn’t prompted to fully explain my thoughts and I thought that people would get the gist of what I was saying. It’s a comment on a website, not a school essay.

hey, from merely creating this bad-ass site i think it is reasonable to say i would go gay for bs angel, there are few people i would do this for: bs angel, denzel washington, and your mother, because she’s really a man

nid, i disagree simply because sometimes…when you look at something, your tired or its late or the shot itself is so damn increduh-awesome that all you have to say is “wow, thats cool” i generaly dont check the site till late at night or early in the morn and im usually not up to speed ( this would be a rare ocassion where i post mid-day but im hungover and just woke up) but yeah btw, i love teh banhammer, dare i say it, it banhammers dweebs and doesnt afraid of anything

for some reason my xbox 360 wont let me save a screenshot of really cool photos,which is a bummer because i have some really cool photos, any tips? PLEASE LEAVE ANSWER!
Is it saying your screenshot queue is full? You may have to delete some old ones to make room for the new ones.
I hate the limit of only 50 screenshots, but then again the whole “can’t use Live thing” is probably the fuel for my anger. I hope to start posting pics in the summer.
