hmmmmmm…… its orite but i have to say its absalutly….RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR WICKED!!!!!!!!
A rocket blast will decrease the overall brightness and increase the contrast of a shot, producing more realistic shading as is visible here.
The trick is to freeze the film at the very right moment. As a rocket explodes, move very very slowly through the film. You should see plumes of fiery smoke get ejected from the point of impact. Keep creeping forward using slight touches on the right trigger. Eventually you will see the second explosion appear, a second explosion sound will be heard, and the screen will go darker.
Don’t just move the camera into the explosion however. Position the camera so that the explosion is to the side as slightly in front of the camera. Just play around with different angels and I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Thats one badass pose.
I love that weapon combo. Shotgun with Rockets on the back. Coolest looking combo.
I really like the shading on the armour. Any tips how to do that?

Yay! AusQB, you should write FAQs for this sort of thing, they’re really handy.
