Hmm… I think he activated cloaking before the lift came out, quickly assassinated the cheiftan and swapped for the hammer. I’m gonna try it out to see for myself.
Perhaps the Cheiftan flew off with unearthly force you sometimes get with Melees (I don’t know if that was in campaign or not, as I rarely melee in campaign, and I don’t know if the 1.1 update also applies to campaign)?
ok mabey if he assassinated him the clocking would have got off and the brutes would have started running and now be bowing at them. it must have been a glitch

Wait for him to charge and jump over him. hit him on the way down and 1 free kill.
also if you headshot one repeatedly with the br he will die before he can use his invincibilty.

well that is just weird the master chief should make theme turn on each other so he doesn’t have to fight every single one of them

kill the chieftan at a range then run up and grab his weapon…the other brutes are about to charge him or ducking from a grenade

that is so wierd. I wonder how many times he died before he got it right. probably had a party when he finnaly did it. I’m going to try to do it to.
If he assassinated the Chieftan then where’s the body?

ya i do the br thing…1 free invincibility….but i have never been able to assassinate one…they always dodge out of the way…even if i’m invis
