I like the colors too. I passed over it the first few times without snagging it. But then I found myself drawn back to it. I can’t put my finger on exactly what makes it so visually appealing but it just is.
Maybe if I tell you why I like it so much, it’ll help you put your finger on it.
I’ve seen this same effect lots of times. But normally it’s just washing out all the other colors on the shot.
This one however, manages to get a great balance of light and dark and still retains much of the color that makes Halo such a memorable game.
This actually looks more like an oil on canvas than a bunch of polygons in a game about killing your friends.
At first I thought this was a shotty snipers game seeing as they both hold the recommended wepaons for such a game. But then after noticing the Gravity Hammer on the taller character’s back I knew it had to be from some small made map. But after what I assumed to be watter in the bottom left corner of the picture, I could put my finger on it. Either way this pcture is already where it belongs and I might try and actually do what ZZZombie thought about. I dabble in painting, but this is too good of an opportunity to pass up….
“The brothers continued to fight off the Brutes, but they knew they couldn’t hold out for long on the alien world. That, however, wouldn’t happen yet. As the younger brother threw a grenade, his older brother covered him with a shotgun. They were still alive. They would still fight.”
There’s some truly amazing looking screenshots people have taken in Halo 3. I absolutely love the fact that you can take screenshots from Halo 3 matches, I could spend hours watching movies looking for good screenshots to take.

I honestly don’t know how he does it. All of his shots are beautifully colourful.
Wow… I love the green skies!
That is insanely brilliant. I don’t think I could paint a better picture.
I gotta get this guy on my friends list!

Angel I think it is that Heroic pose and the beautifull color scheme, it somewhat reminds me off that statue of those flag raising americana’s
